PEPERIKSAAN RADIO AMATUR SIRI KE EMPAT TAHUN 2010

Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) akan menganjurkan Peperiksaan Radio Amatur (RAE) siri ke empat bagi tahun 2010 sebagai memenuhi kehendak Peraturan 26(2), Peraturan-Peraturan Komunikasi dan Multimedia (Standard Teknik) 2000, pada tarikh dan waktu seperti berikut.

Tarikh/Masa Peperiksaan:  22 Disember 2010 / Jam 2:00 Petang
Tempat Peperiksaan:  Wilayah Utara, Tengah, Timur, Selatan, Sabah dan Sarawak
Tarikh permohonan dibuka:  11 Okt 2010
Tarikh Tutup permohonan:  29 Okt 2010, Jam 5:00 ptg

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will be holding the fourth series of the Radio Amateur Examination (RAE) for 2010, pursuant to Regulation 26(2) of the Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000 at the following locations and date.

Examination time and date:  2:00 p.m., 22 December 2010.
Examination venues:  Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Regions and Sabah and Sarawak
Application submissions open:  11 October 2010
Application submissions close:  5:00 p.m., 29 October 2010

Certifying Agency (CA)

Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA '98) section 186

"The commission may register certifying agencies or classes of certifying agencies, including agencies outside Malaysia, for the purposes of certifying compliance with codes or standards."

To process applications of certifying agencies or classes of certifying agencies both inside and out side Malaysia, audit and the management of their performance as well as the development of Certifying Agencies and the supporting approved Test Labs structure.
 
To develop standard application and test set up and procedures, recording system, certification mark control with the CAs.

CERTIFICATION & CERTIFYING AGENCIES
Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000

Regulation 14

“All communications equipment which are required to be certified under these Regulations shall be so certified.”

Regulation 27(1)

"No person shall undertake or conduct any activity in a designated skill area unless that person is certified."

Scopes of the certifications

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has issued a notice to exempt certification for certain types of communications equipment for holders of amateur radio operator's certificates (Class A or Class B).

NOTICE NO. 01/06/2004

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) hereby gives notice that pursuant to regulation 16(2) of the Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000 (Regulations), the MCMC hereby authorises a person who holds an amateur radio operator’s certificate (Class A or Class B) to use any communications equipment listed in this Notice which is not certified as required by the Regulations.

Class AssignmentA Class Assignment confers rights on a person to use a frequency band or bands for a specified purpose. There is no requirement for registration or prescribed fees for class assignments. A class assignment is valid until it is cancelled by the commission.

The examples above must satisfy the conditions imposed in P.U. (A) 109.Class Assignment ApplicationNo application is needed for class assignment. Clients must get equipment Type Approval (TA) for their equipment from SIRIM QAS Sdn Bhd (Contact: 603-5544 6974).The technical conditions for equipment TA can be found in P.U. (B) 109.

Mengurus Permohonan Baru AA Kelas B

Di sini sedikit tips/senarai semak untuk menguruskan AA anda.
1. Isi borang AA dengan lengkap [download]
2. Dapatkan tandatangan 2 orang pemegang AA Kelas A [download]
3. Menandatangi Surat Akuan Sumpah di hadapan pesuruhjaya sumpah [download]
4. Lengkapkan borang pilihan callsign [download]
5. Menyertakan salinan kad pengenalan
6. Bawa Surat keputusan LULUS RAE dan salinan
7. Wang Pos atau Bank Draf sebagai bayaran AA
8. Pastikan anda berurusan di Pejabat SKMM pada waktu pejabat...sebaiknya sebelah pagi (jangan datang disaat-saat waktu kerja dah nak habis... nanti anda kecewa!!!)
Bayaran yuran tahunan AA + yuran proses. Contoh untuk AA 5 Tahun :
RM 24.00 X 5 Tahun = RM 120.00 + RM 60.00 = RM 180.00
Terkini, saya difahamkan bahawa segala pembayaran AA dibuat melalui kaedah Wang Pos atau Bank Draf atas nama SURUHANJAYA KOMUNIKASI DAN MULTIMEDIA MALAYSIA.

Radio Amatur (Ham Radio) adalah satu hobi dimana seseorang itu dapat berhubung dengan rakan yang lain secara individu atau berkumpulan diseluruh dunia dengan menggunakan gelombang radio.
Contohnya anda berada di Johor,anda boleh berhubungdengan rakan-rakan radio amatur lain yang berada di Perlis,Perak,Kelantan dan tak kira dimana diseluruh Malaysia amnya menggunakan frekuansi 144Mhz-148Mhz secara percuma.
Perhubungan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan suara atau isyarat-isyarat lain seperti Kod Morse(CW) atau kaedah digital lain.
Seseorang yang hendak menjadi pengendali radio amatur hendaklah lulus peperiksaan Radio Amateur Examination(RAE).Setelah lulus barulah boleh membuat permohonan bagi mendapatkan lesen radio amatur.
Di Malaysia,pihak yang memegang kuasa mengeluarkan lesen radio amatur ialah Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia(SKMM).
Bayaran lesen kelas A ialah RM36.00 setahun manakala lesen kelas B buat masa ini ialah RM24.00 setahun.Setiap pengendali radio amatur mempunyai kod panggilan atau callsign tersendiri.
Di Semenanjung Malaysia,callsignnya ialah 9M2 dan 9W2,di Serawak 9M8 dan 9W8 manakala di Sabah ialah 9M6 dan 9W6.Sebelum menjadi pengendali radio amatur yang berlesen,seseorang itu dipanggil SWAL(ShortWave Listenen).
Setelah lulus RAE barulah seseorang itu boleh memancar dan berQSO di udara.
